The skills needed to create this website and it's content were acquired over many hours over the years both in time I spent on my own but also with the help of many graphic design and website design and development instructors and other knowledgeable experts. I'd like to express my sincere appreciation for all the help they gave me and of course I try to share some of the skills I've acquired over the years with those that may need help too. "Pay it forward" as they say. I see the members of the graphics community as a family. I'd especially like to thank all the many teachers at the Continuing Education Division of Santa Barbara City College, which is one of the leading programs of its kind in the county, and is where I got my start. And also I'd like to thank all the many fine instructors at Santa Barbara City College itself in the Multimedia Arts and Technology and Graphic Design and Photography and Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs that I've studied with. Some of those instructors are: Tom Tuttle and Terry Atkinson who teach Adobe Photoshop, Stephanie McCann and Terry Atkinson who teach Adobe Illustrator, Alejandra Jarabo who teaches Adobe Flash, Say! Dempsay Skiles who teaches Photography and Creative Thinking, Dean Nevins the Chair of the Computer Science Department, Esther Frankel, the Chair of the Computer Information Systems Department, George Federman who teaches Electronic Commerce, Jacques Habra who teaches Online and Mobile Marketing, and especially for this site Scott Nelson, the Head Webmaster for the City of Santa Barbara, and Jill Katz of Katz & Mouse Web Design and Development who teach Web Design I and II at SBCC and were especially influential in passing on their knowledge of web design and development.
Thank you one and all!
